Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I am letting you know that I am closing M & Co. Papery. I am having difficulty even trying to convey what that means to me. I have absolutely LOVED having M & Co. There is not one moment that I regret the hard work and struggles of owning my own business.
It is with great fondness that I look back at all of the memories from the beginning to the end. I have enjoyed getting to know each and everyone of you through the years. I have been so fortunate to follow customers through their weddings invitations, birth announcements, and then birthday parties. Some of the kids are eight years old now!
Stacie, Alex, Lisa, and all of my wonderful employees, thank you for your hard work, loyalty and friendship. God really blessed me with each of you. You guys have taught me so much about myself and life. Mostly patience! Just kidding! I could not have maintained my sanity without having you guys to fall back on.
Kristin, I cannot find the words to thank you for all that you have done for me and M & Co. I remember walking into your just opened store, Domestic Bliss, and thinking how great it would be to realize my childhood dream of having a store of my own. It is through your encouragement that I went out on a limb and opened M & Co. in the back of your shop. Those were the days! We had no idea what we were doing but we sure had fun! Your friendship and support during very hard retail times has been invaluable.
And of course my family and friends who have given me lots of free labor, thank you! Dorie, with her amazing decorating skills who came in countless times to whip the store into shape, Michele, who gave me business advice and made up all of my postcards and advertising for free! Paul and LeAnna who worked so hard with me in July with no air conditioning to get the current space ready to move into. You guys are the greatest!
So, in order to wrap things up at M & Co, we are having a HUGE sale starting Monday, July 6th and continuing throughout the entire month! And, the best part is that Domestic Bliss is going to bring in a ton of their sale stuff to add to the sale frenzy! I am so excited about the sale and even though it is the end of M & Co, I can’t wait to see what life will bring next!
I would love to see all of you and get the chance to say goodbye and thank you so please drop in! We will be open Monday through Saturday and closing for good on Friday, July 31st.

I'm sorry to hear you are closing, you have a lovely store... However, please don't say "goodbye", just farewell until we meet again... I wish you and your staff the VERY BEST! Wherever life may take you...

Every door that closes opens new possibilities!! I have no doubt that the next chapter in your (and B's) life will be equally as good as M&co!!! You have so much to be proud of and I gotta hand it to you for ever taking the leap of entrepreneurship! LONG LIVE the written note and printed invite!!!

I had only recently found your blog & have been admiring your beautiful store & the amazing designs you carry. I agree with Ivsparkle above, that when a door closes, there's new opportunities ahead! I hope you continue to have a blog letting us keep up with what's going on in your life, as I'm sure it will be wonderful! Best wishes! Patti

Just got an email from a friend telling me the sad news. All I can say is NOOO! Domestic Bliss truly is a destination store -- amazing items, beautifully arranged. I am in complete shock! Over the past few years I started doing invitations & party planning for friends and family and loved coming to your store for some of the finest paper products. Thank you for inspiring me to pursue invitation design, M & Co Papery will be missed!
